How does ImaginAR use AR QR codes to transform the way students learn in classrooms?
Updated: Dec 22, 2022
What are AR QR codes?

Augmented reality QR codes make it easy to access AR content. To access AR content, you don't need to download any huge apps. Users will be able to get the augmented reality data by just scanning the QR codes. It is a kind of instant augmented reality that is based on the web.
Why AR QR codes?

The user experience will improve with AR QR codes without taking more time. Given that QR codes are already commonplace in our daily lives, anyone can understand them. In particular, augmented reality-based QR codes will be used in teaching as well as marketing activities to raise brand recognition. With QR AR codes, user interaction time will also rise, which significantly lowers the user learning curve.
What benefits would AR QR codes provide?

Shopping, marketing, education, and many other industries may all use AR QR codes to implement instant AR. However, we use these AR QR codes in the classroom. Because children do not become bright only by understanding a concept in theory. Only the student who learns a concept through practical experience will be able to retain it for a long time, and it will also enable them to apply it in real-life scenarios.
However, in order to implement practical education, a large budget is required, even though a large budget does not allow us to explain some complex concepts such as biology practically. We are utilizing augmented reality technology in teaching to solve these issues. Different concepts were created by us in 3D and then turned into augmented reality. We created some QR codes to make it simple for students to access the content. Students can now more clearly visualize concepts thanks to 3D/AR.
How can QR AR be implemented in the classroom?

We created several 3D&AR biology education concepts. Next, we developed some QR codes to make it simpler for the students to access. Students can access the content for better visualisation with the help of these QR codes. Additionally, we created some personalized stickers that students could use to scan QR codes to access augmented reality content.
They can paste these into their books and scan them at any moment to access our information. On those stickers, there will be a concept name, an image, and an AR-based QR code. A sample of our stickers is seen in the picture below.
Where have we implemented QR-AR based learning?
As a first step, we started approaching some government schools to give a demo of our product. At GOVT BOYS HIGH SCHOOL in Ibrahimpatnam, Telangana, 501506, and Zilla Parishat High School in Ragannaguda, we first showed off our goods. We thank the support from the faculty and management, who made the demo sessions a success. We gave them an overview of this technology and its advantages as part of the demo. We explained some concepts by scanning QR and AR stickers on our mobile phones. They loved our concept wholeheartedly, and we engaged them by explaining how to access our website and content.
After a month had passed, we returned to the GOVT BOYS HIGH SCHOOL in Ibrahimpatnam, Telangana, to sell our product set of biology-related QR AR stickers (seen in the above image), and they responded with great excitement. I want to express my gratitude to Mr. Suresh Sir, HM of the Govt Boys High School in Ibrahimpatnam, for his cooperation. This encouraged us to roll out this system in more Telangana schools. We will soon hold a variety of workshops about augmented reality and virtual reality learning in schools across Telangana. Contact us if you have any queries about our products, sales, or services.
